Fukada Hiroshi’s manga, “Jyoujyuu Senjin!!! Mushibugyo“, will be turned into an animated series!
Fans of the manga can catch a glimpse of the series on June 18th through the “Weekly Shonen Sunday” commercial, “Sunday CM Theater“. The series is under the direction of Kawasaki Toshiaki, who also worked on “BASARA“, and is the work of TOHO and Production I.G. studios.
Synopsis:
Tsukishima Jinbee is a warrior who aims to be best, under the belief that a weak warrior isn't a warrior at all. He was scouted out by a representative to join the Mushibugyo and told to go to Edo with the instructions that he'd knew what to do once he got there. Shortly after arriving at Edo, he hears a scream and goes to check it out... To find a giant spider-like creature devouring some citizens of Edo. Being a warrior, there's no way he could stand this.
(Honestly, I don't really know much about this manga/anime~haven't read the manga yet, but it doesn't look to bad ~ so I'm going to go check it out ^^)
